yea i know what you mean. i just cant get *that* sound from my virus. or software. i can definitely see why tranceheads cant get enough of that sound. theres something about it which is just so very very very sweet. even if it is (over)used by practically every trance/hard dance artist under the sun.
fecking good demo btw madstation - backed up my point with a perfect example  btw, i didnt read the post fully before clicking the link and i knew that lead was vanguard straight off  vanguard has such a distinctive kind of sound - a bit hollow in places but its got a lot of grit and alot of crunch. makes very nice acid. hmmmmmm...acid...
