Default NO DEVICE FOUND (reading this for hours...)

Merhaber,

i own a MacPro (10.5) and a Virus TI. When trying to install the software (Version 2.5 as well as version 3.0) the virus device is not found to updated the firmware as part of the installation. I always deinstalled everything before a new try.

I tried 3 different USB cables with all available USB slots and also followed the instructions concerning power off, hold exit botton e.g.. Also the ARP EDIT button to reset the Virus did not help me.

A friend had the same problems on another mac (with the same virus) but suddenly it worked after hours and hours of trying again and again.

Maybe the Virus needs to be reseted via midi? Or is it a USB problem since the device is not found? Please help me.

Hade ciao,

Emil

I'd be inclined to get in touch with Access support about this one.

In my experience, resetting by just holding down the ARP Edit button doesn't do anything. I contacted Access Support before and they gave me this list of instructions to reset. I would try this... it always works for me.

1. Disconnect the USB cable from the TI
2. Disconnect the power cable from the TI
3. Disconnect the power cable from the power outlet
4. Reconnect the power cable to the TI
5. Reconnect the power cable to the power outlet
6. Reconnect the USB cable to the TI
7. Press and hold the ARP EDIT button for a few seconds (I usually do it for at least 10) and then let go
