Nevertheless a reply would be nice Ben. It is not much to ask for... It was open to anyone at Access to reply originally - and they didn't.

As yet they might - you make it sound so final, yet it's only 3 hrs since you made that post!

I hope so Ben. It would make your life a lot more simple in an instant. A vast number of issues mentioned on this forum could be instantly diagnosed and referred to on the Access site just by clicking on "tips for Logic" as an example.

Unofficial or not - I am certain that this website is viewed very, very closely in the dark depths of the Access building... (I can almost hear the David Hasselhof music being pumped around the corridors)

Why? It works OK here. If you refer to the annoying way in which Logic automatically jumps to the left locator when you press play in cycle mode, just press play first, then switch cycle on. Once it is looping, there shouldn't be a problem.

And anyway, in my experience (with 5.5.1 at any rate) - start *any* VSti playback without pre-roll, and you lose the beginning of the first note. Even the Klopfgeist misses off the first beat every time I start playback!
I Personally have never meet a singer that could do a whole song in one take and get it right,so i this/our case we have to record vocals in a loop until she gets it right. So in alot of cases the sentence she is trying to get right is in the middle of a Apr part,or do you expect us to loop from the start of a Apr part which might have started 60 seconds before the lyrics she is trying to prefect...

the girl next door:
Why not bounce the whole tune to .wav instead?
I usually do that in the recording phase.
Then you take the best bits of vocal then import them back in your real project.

Just a workaround

Never thought of that,nice one...
But it Still don't make the Ti work for the most on this forum as it should do...I'm one of the lucky ones, just now and then Apr timing loss on loops but that only depends on what Latency i run my MOTU 828mk2 soundcard on, the lower the better (We only turn up the Latency if we get Asio crashes and that only happens when were running Korg,Z3ta+ and RMX VSTis which we use quite a bit,we normally record the RMX straight away but the others we leave as Midi as we are always fannying around with the parameters)apart from that, everything is Ok..

However, the main problem will no doubt be the fact that Logic 6 Mac does not delay compensate! You will have to compensate every TI track with a negative delay yourself to get around this problem, I guess.
Strange that logic6 is not supported but logic 5.5.1 pc is?! And both have the same pdc which is not fully functional.

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....
