Im recording with logic 7.1 and I have set a pre-roll of 2 bars before recording
I 've highlighted the tracks asigned for the TI in logic every time......and BTW....WHY THE TI CANT REMEMBER WHEN YOU CHANGE THE MAIN OUT? every time I open Logic Ti sets itself to Usb out..
OK - then this looks like it's something to do with your setup - hopefully we can get to the bottom of it. What sample rate are you working at, btw?
Im working at 44.1 khz...
my set up is dual G5 2.0. 2 gb ram.
mac osx10.4.4 .....logic pro 7.1.1
Audio card is presonus firebox....buffer size used in logic is 128.
Process buffer range is set to "small"
24 bit and software monitoring...
Virus TI used with VC...midi over usb and audio over OUT 1.

if using usb for audio and midi then i dont get distorted sounds.....but in both cases Arps are a mess.

if you start recording with 1 bar preroll in an 8 bar loop will the arp stay in sync after the loop comes back around?
Last night my setup in DP would sync and then fall out and then sync again.
I'm going crazy!!!!!!

Digital Performer is not a compatible host yet, I'm afraid.

Default OK

Let me get this straight...If im using Logic 6 and my virus TI I have NO CHANCE of ever syncing an arp to midi??

WTF??

My KC was rock solid with sync if I was sending midi time code.

Even if Im on the virus channel its still syncing in and out wheter im using the Analog outs or USB...What a nightmare...Loks like a return on the ti or should I hold out for a better OS??

I would have thought you should be able to get it to sync, yes. You will certainly need to do some workarounds if you are using Virus Control, due to Logic 6's lack of PDC, that's all.

This goes back to my earlier post. Access need to post these "work-arounds" on their site for each DAW. It would make everyones life a lot easier.

Would Access like to comment on this?

I have 7.1.1 sitting at home but i donwgraded due to the fact I cant use my Waves in logic7 and I was having issues with logic always crashing.

If I upgrade will I def be able to sync the virus to midi or is it a shot in the dark?
