Default Drunken Arp

anyone still experiencing the drunken arp issue with 1.1? I created a new project and selected an arp patch. 4 bar loop, arp starts off fine for a loop or two and then starts losing its timing, then comes back and then loses it again . . .

haven't had any drunken issues with 1.1b and logic 7.2.1. I do still have the issue where I have to start the sequence 1 bar prior to the TI coming in.

I am going to send an email to Access but figured I will post it here as well -

I am using a built in ARP patch called BPMover PS. I created a 2 bar loop in Ableton Live and have the tempo set to 124bpm. Turn on the metronome and hit play in Live. The sequence starts to play in sync and everything sounds fine, after a loop or two the arp speeds up or slows down just a bit and then gets back on track after a bar or so. The arp patch also stutters here and there. Watching the bpm light on the Virus, I see that the bpm starts to get out of sync with the metronome (blinking not in sync and then gets itself back on track). I have it syncing to Live. As a test, I changed the tempo of the song and the virus followed it staying in sync for a bar or two and then drifting a bit like before. Also for the stutters, the light flickers quickly. Other vstis stay in sync with the host software.

Virus Info -
Audio Driver Ver 2.6.2.0
Audio Library ver 2.6.2.1
Host Interface ver 0.0.0.0
Midi Driver ver 2.6.2.0
Virus TI Control ver 1.1.1.239
Ableton Live ver 5.2

As a side, every once in a while, I get the locked blue screen, where I turn on my virus and it goes to the blue screen and nothing else happens. I have to unplug and replug the power to get it to boot up.

update - wow, I really think 1.2.1r2 has solved my issue.
I have been testing it for over an hour so far and everything stays in sync.

It's friday night, my TI seems to be syncing, it's 85 degrees out . . . . time to head into town for a few glasses of cheap whiskey!!

Got the latest release, using the Virus TI in MIDI (no USB, no VC) and I still have the drunken arp in multi-mode...Any Idea?

I would say contact Access via email. They are very good about getting back to you fairly quickly.

Glad to hear. 1.2.3 really is a fairly solid release. I am currently testing it with the Ableton Live 6 beta and so far so good.
