Default Drunken Arps Anonymous - or - DAA

I just spent 2 hours recording arp lines to wav files and chopping then into 2 beat slices and then side shifting them forward and backward in time to get 'SAMPLE ACCURATE TIMING'. Hey, that phrase rings a bell, it would make a good marketing slogan.

A lot of work but hey the timing is shit hot now!

I suspect there will be time enough before the next TI update. How does next Friday sound?

erf :\

ive had to do this for about a year with my virus b desktop!

the arp doesnt sync properly at all. so i had to render it to wav in a new project with zero or very low cpu load. then chop it up and splice it back together in time.

i realised pretty quickly it wasnt worth the effort. so now i have the arp permanently switched off and do everything manually. its not a TI exclusive problem though. and i dont even think its a hardware issue with my virus b. more like a compatibility issue with the DAW and drivers that im running (m-audio delta driver set and fl studio 5).

Funny you should mention the virus b as that was my previous virus. I had problems on and off with arp sync for years but not as bad as the TI.
The virus b was at least ok if you set the bpm sync to internal and had the bpm defined in the patch. The TI seems to be confused with where the beat is and randomly jumps infront or behind. Like two sound cards that arn't in clock sync.

Hello everyone, my name is nvisibl and i've been a DA for about 10 days now. It all started when I switched from Midi cables to USB, I thought I had it under control but it just got too much for me and I broke down

I wanted the ease of use and flexability of USB but no.... it just got worse and worse... even to the extent of experiencing clicks, pops and reboots.

Why oh why did I give into such temptation ...Is there any way out of this, is there a saviour? Jesus Christ man, my lifes going down the pan!

Flush!!

The worst thing is that the people around you, who love and cherish you, may not even no that this awful affliction is happening to you... sob, sniff.
