Default Atomizer problems in Ableton Live

I usually use Cubase for production, but am currently preparing for a live show where I'll be routing audio from a max patch into Ableton Live to use various effects etc, and also running audio clips.

I wanted to use Atomizer as an effect for some of the routed audio but am having problems with stability.

If I route audio into VC via sidechaining and enable Atomizer, all works fine, but if I press stop in the transport panel, then play a clip again, atomizer stops working. Only way to get atomizer working again is to pull the power lead from the back of the TI and plug it back in to restart the Ti.

So basically it works until I hit stop in the Live transport bar, then start playing again.

Anyone have any ideas why this might be?

I have tried this in both Live 8.01 and 7.0.12 and also with an external audio interface and internal audio, same happens on both.

Setup is:

Virus Ti Poalr (mk 1) Running 3.0.1.09

Apple Macbook Pro (2007 model Core 2 Duo 2.33mhz, 3 gig of ram) running osx 10.5.6

Audio interface = Tascam IF FW/DM mkII card (32 in 32 out) on a Tascam DM4800

Ableton Live 7.0.12 & 8.01
