Default Ah god... buying more gear... someone hold my hand!

My cursor is poised over the Buy button for a Blue Dragonfly.
Should I..? :O

It will be used for my electronic/industrial/metal band to record female vocals, single drum hits (making my own drum samples from now on, yup), various powertools, engines, trains pulling out of stations, and other cool things that make cool noises, and also metal-style shredding guitar. Preamps are Mackie Onyx from their 400f audio interface.

It's a good price..

Can someone please tell me to stop being a pussy and just buy it please. Or alternatively, tell me I'm making a horrible mistake and suggest something else.
kthx.

I always get so nervous before buying something expensive like this. What if it turns out to be rubbish? Or just totally not suited to my purposes? Or it breaks straight away or arrives broken, and the company abandon me?

Eeeeeeeeeeppp...

'Money won't spend itself' is what I always say - so it follows that *you* have to spend it.

Also I reckon the quantum of regret produced by not getting something your musical little heart desires usually exceeds the regret risked by getting something that turns out to be a pup .. .don't have the hard data to prove that, though!
