Just had a slightly less random crash that might help marc/access figure things out faster. Had a song playing in Cubase, hit space to stop playback, heard a little noisey chirp from the virus like a really really short version of the crash sound, then as soon as started playback again it did a full on crash.

I've also just noticed that if I leave the virus on long enough it will randomly crash (all the LEDs go out and come back on), without even opening Cubase or VC. I would assume it'd make that nasty noise too if I had it hooked up via anything other than USB.
