I had some issues with booting but havent done it in the past 5 days(and I used the TI quite extensively).

To avoid I always make sure to:

Start the TI before Cubase.
I don't touch(it's hard to resist) the TI while Cubase is loading...Same thing when VControl loads.

When I'm done, I shut down Cubase...THEN close the TI.

For me it works everytime.

Doesn't work for me ... as soon as the power is plugged to the TI (whether the sequenzer or computer is started doesn't matter at all), there's a blank screen. de-plug and re-plug and it boots up.

A friend told me, that it really might be a hardware-defect with a condenser ...

To reset the TI unplug the power cord, press and hold [ARP EDIT] and plug the power cord in, when BPM and the Access LED in the Mixer section are blinking, release the [ARP EDIT] button.

If this happened after a failed OS update, you might boot the TI into "update mode" which is by holding [EXIT] during a powercycle and run the firmware updater afterwards.

Have you already contacted access support?

Can I just ask....why isnt there and on/off power switch anymore? So you have to pull the power cable in and out in order to boot up and shut down?

Is the power socket case mounted or circuit board mounted?

Just wondering as I was trying to figure out why people are pulling out their power leads all the time.

You hold the TRANSPOSE buttons together for 2 seconds.
Maybe people who have had crashes do the power cable thing.

Any other users of the different Ti models having this problem (ie Polar and 61key)? Or is it just the Desktop TI users?

yes, I've already contacted the access support ... they're suggesting to bring it back. But I still hope, that it might be fixed with an OS update.
