Default Ti KB owners; dimensions of real estate next to knobs?

Hello fellow Virus lovers.

I own an Indigo. I have a chance to upgrade to the TI 61 keyboard.

I have 2 Novation Launchpads and a BCR2000 and a BCF2000. And a Korg Nanopad.

I am hoping to get at least the Nano and an LP onto the real estate, or the Behringers, if possible. Am I dreaming?

Is there someone who could measure that area of the KB for me? Is it as flat as it looks?

QUESTION # 2

Does the Octave buttons send midi info? My Indigo does not which is a big Oooops! I'm sure they've fixed that on the new ones.

I guess I won't be getting my Launchpad on there.

Can anyone comment on the ability of the octave buttons to send midi information to softsynths or hardware synths?
