When it comes to computer bases DAWs XP64 is an rather exotic OS.

I simply don't care yet, what may change with Windows 7. Don't think this helps, but it runs on Vista32.

Hi there,

i have similar problem here with my virus b.

when i starting Sounddiver it says virus b is not responding, then rescan and says no new devices found..

runnig win xp
interface - edirol fa101
virus b
device id 1
lopage and hipage - sysex
virus b midi in->fa101 midi out
fa101 midi in->virus midi out.

any suggestions wiil be much appreciated.

What happens if you choose manual installation and set the midi I/O by hand.

anyone know how do i change output to fa101?
audio interface is connected, but sounddiver actually see microsoft whatever synth..

i think this is a problem.

If scanning stucks at this point, it's a common problem. Try to deactivate the MS GS Wavetable Synth in the Win.ini, by changing the value behind the drivers name from 7 to 0
