Default effect delay time problem (unsolved)

hi!

nice forum here!
greetings to all!

i got a problem since using my Virus A this year..

i want to set the delay time on the effects to exactly 416.7 MS for a 144bpm track,
but the adjustment is not exactly in 1MS step,
i can only enter 415.1 ms and if i press once it rise to 420.2ms,

so what the hell is that!why can i not set the time in +/-1ms ?
i have read the manual again, read something about the delay clock must be off,but that not solve the problem...

i play the virus via midi in by a groovebox....disconnecting the midi cable did not affect the adjustment of the ms

also in multimode or single do not change the weird steps in the delay setting...

just sitting on the net for hours and can't find the answer..maybe you can help me - thanx - greetings from switzerland - Spacelove

I have a virus indigo and when the tempo is set to 144bpm the delay time jumps from 415.1 to 420.2 as well on mine. Why don't you use the delay clock instead? In case you don't know how( I don't have the virus a but I think its the same) go under effects and move till you are at a section called delay clock and turn it on. Specify if you want the delay to be clocked to every 1/4 or whatever. I hope that fixes your problem
