Default Product Comparison Chart

It's gonna be nice to see the TI added to the Product Comparison Chart on Access' website.

Produce sounds with it? ......what a strange idea. Im planning on using mine as an oversized paperweight seeing as by the time it does get released the sounds it could of made will be totally out of date.

Actually, by the time it does ship maybe it will already be old enough to be classed as a classic synth, and be much sought after for those old style digital sounds

Lets say in 5 years time....the USB on the TI goes tits up.......I wonder if you'll easily be able to get a replacement. I doubt it

hehe DS - so worried about spare parts before you even purchase the thing!

worthy point though - USB can be quite fickle...

Running old analogs...you begin to appreciate spare part availability hehe.

But seriously, one of the reasons I returned the N3 was that 'I do believe owners will be fucked once the knobs start to go wrong'.......

LOL.......

Sorry guys....April is the DS's month of ranting......

Back in 2003 I had the Virus KC and N3 side by side. After about 3 weeks I decided to let the N3 go........I realised I could only stomach 1 VA and the Virus was nicer sounding IMO.

Its just the way I am.....but I often look at the quality of knobs and buttons....and yes it does influence my purchasing. I dont mind cheap knobs and buttons.....so long as they're replacable (i.e. Sequential P1)....but when you have fancy knobs ala N3.....it raises the practical issue of what the fuck does one do if in 5 yrs it goes wrong. Are you really going to be able to get a replacement?

I look past gimmicky (for the moment) features etc etc....and I look at 2 things. Firstly sound and then practicality over build quality and long term upkeep. If any of you guys have tried maintaining old analogs you'll understand worry.

But rest assured guys....... in 15 yrs time when your Virus' are dying......I will have stockpiled most of the major parts, manuals, knobs and buttons, pcb's etc etc....
