Default Ive finally got the bassline

Dont know about all you guys on here but today im quite pleased! as ive finaly found and layered 3 diffrent virus basslines which i can honestly say im really pleased with!

I make trance but in the begining i was finishing tracks quite offten but recently i havnt finished a track for ages due to me being so damn fussy and every bassline ive been using i end up hating and am really sick of the standard off beat bassline which has just about been cained to its limits in most of the recent hard trance tracks!!

Anyone else had any problems with finding the rite bassline with out doing sumin thats already done!

Im happy anways! will post a clip up soon as its finished!!

it was always steping in a new direction in terms or new styles and new trends but once one has been found people just seem copy and not enough people trying new things!!

Cool i see your from israel whats the trance scene like out there?

talkingn of basslines im not a huge fan of scott project these days but have you heard his new one??? damn me listen to how many basslines he has got in just the one track! 8O how the hell he has done it ill never know? sounds well fat!!

Cool what sort of producers you like? do they have many record shops in your country?

Never. However, look at where Astral Projection, Eyal Barkan and Yahel and whoever are heading with their music.

yeah as hollow said
psy trance has became very commercial,"full on" style as we call it here
about the other kind of trance (europien)
its also realy commercial
mostly covers to tracks we have here....
that german style (rocco, megara that stuff)
we dont have any quality stuff
i heard scot's new FM and to tell you the thruth didnt like it so much
the bassline there is fat tho
about hard trance producers i like alphazone and use to realy like hennes and cold when i was younger
right now im mostly into the more melodic style of trance
i like armin van burren, ferry corsten who also gone commercial latly, mike (push),above and beyond and many more.

Well Just remember if u r trying to look for new ideas most likely u will never find them...they have to be discovered. Just continue on with the way u make music and do some study on music stylings, especially with your music...find the patterns in the way u make music...and once u have found them then do the opposite of which u do normally...sometimes that will release into something new...but the more u look for that "NEW" thing the harder it will be to find it...

peace

Yeah, current 'Trance', wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much two-fingered/octaved off-beat, er, 'riff's and lead-lines, heavily plagiarised, with very minor variations on *everything* else. Cheap and tired imitations. Cheddar, moldy.

Same old, same old. Yawn. Stale. Unoriginal. Sickening. Groundhog day.

Embarassing to label it under the 'Trance' banner, even. More like 'utter tired old braindead cruddy early-teenager pretentious twee type shit that an untrained monkey could make'.

This years' chintz. (And last years', and the years' before....)

Sick of it.

If anyone here reads this and you make this shit, hang up your headphones, sell all your gear, and retire. It was good in '99, but not in 2K4.

Rant over.

Here fuckin' here!

I agree with your dates too. '99, the fall of `Trance`. I suppose Dj Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise 1 was the heralding of its fall.

Goddamit.
