Default hardware sequencer

I am looking for a hardware sequencer so I can perform live. I need one that will enable me to change patterns on the fly and load new patterns into memory while playing. I have looked at the korg electribe EMX-1.. any other ideas? I don't really want the EMX-1's synth section .. I also need the sequencer to trigger external midi chanels

so what would you suggest??

thinking about it now, If I were in your shoes, and assuming you have the money, go with any MPC2000. The timing is so tight on those it is almost ridiculous.

Akai MPC3000 and Yamaha RS7000 are definetly the best ones for live music today.
But, nothing can beat the Latronic Notron sequencer
