Thumbs down My TI is totally Fuked

Ive given it a good chance after having it for months but I think its time for Ebay. It just never worked in Logic for me in USB mode. Its hard enough to get it started after I save and load a song with it. I have to turn it off, on, reboot, power it down...its a mess. It cant remember presets in the tracks either.

Im using a powermac G5..logic 7.2 pro

I was hoping that os2.0 would do some miracle or me but it didnt do jack

god I miss my KC........

man, that's got to be pretty frustrating.

Have you tried contacting Access support about this?
They're are pretty good at getting back to you (if you shoot them an email via their support page)

I think its a shame your getting rid of your Ti,Have you talked to anyone else with a Mac and Logic 7.2 or contacted Access
Have you tried it on another Mac,it could be USB issue??
...Maybe your doing something wrong?

If it's funked up hardware, the Virus has a two year warranty and Access will take care of it. Try the VC on another Mac, and of course you can use it the old fashion way.

heres a question...if i save a preset in a song . Then I close the song and I reopen it with the Virus turned on already, should it reopen and the same preset be found on the virus and play when I hit the spacebar.

or am I asking too much from the TI?

Also: When I turn on Logic and the virus is already on shouldnt it be available for use immediatly when the arrange screen comes up? Why am I hassling wih turning it off and on and all that crap to get a usb connection?

You should probably have ther TI switched on *before* you start you DAW, at least thats how it is on PCs - dunno about Macs.

And dont switch the TI off/on while you DAW is running - probbaly upset the DAW due to missing interface...

DJTB,

Think of your Virus when connected to your Mac with its USB cable as an extra sound card installed into your Mac via USB connection, because along with the MIDI, that's basically what it is.

Would your software be happy if you added/removed the soundcard on your Mac in realtime while it was running?

Try setting things up so that your soundcard (aka TI) is installed on your Mac and connected and running (on) prior to using the software, and that you've set the software up to use this soundcard as your primary one, and disabled any others you might have installed.

See if that logic works with your Logic.
