Default New prodigy album

Is awesome. :>

If anyone has heard the song "Take me to the hospital", do you have any ideas how that bass sound was made? True analog ? Any distortion? Is the arp type thingy altering the filter freq, or the amplitude of the whole patch, or..?
Phattest thing I've heard in a while, either way..

It really is! Prodigy is back on full form! The last album was complete shite (imo), but they've gone right back to their roots on the new one - akin to Experience. Proper retro, techno, even the 3o3 is back in various places, but sounds really great and fresh. Excellent album.

Yep, always been a fan, and it's great to see some of the old flavour coming through again.

The version of Omen is better on the promo Omen CD though - not to mention the remix by Noisia! Very cool stuff.

The first 5 trax are insane, as well as the final track, but he lost me in the middle tracks. The fullness of the sound as well as the screming leads in omen and imd blew me away. Reminds me of the first Pendlum album. (if only Pendulums second major album was as good as hold your colour)Will Liam ever release his soundset?

I totally agree! OMEN is beautiful as well as the reprise (I am looping them both in my player right now).

Marc,

It must be a good feeling to see/hear "your" synth being extensively used by someone like Liam Howlett. Do you see usage by major acts as a sort of benchmark of the success of the TI? Are there any songs by any band out there in particular that make you flush with pride? :>

of course. because it shows that what we (access) do for living means something to people who create what we love (music).
i think, what filled me with some sort of pride, was the coop we did with with the Sasha team (barry, charly and leo). they did some stellar sound design and took the TI sonically beyond what i thought is possible. but also, the upcoming depeche mode tour will feature a lot of TI, just to name one additional touring artist.

best, marc

ps. and thanks fsx for the nice words on my music
