Default solution for windows 10/usb midi

Another SOLUTION: long time virus owner and then discovered I needed to update using windows 10 and usb/midi. tried many of the options but kept on getting issues with last received etc.

This resolved it for me.
1. power on virus with store button held, should put you in update settings.
2. Download http://www.benryves.com/products/vistamidi , yes it works on windows 10, select your usb default device there.
3. start windows media player. wmplayer.exe, right click, to get a file menu inside wmp, load the first mid file.
4 press store again on the virus to enter waiting state, I then set play speed to slow in wmp, virus completed update and pressed store again to save

Does that really apply to the Virus B update? I think you mean a USB MIDI cable, right?

BTW: Regarding the other posting above: The access site is a bit tricky: You should navigate to "discontinued products" but not to "old os", but just "os". There is the Version 4.9!
