Default Deactivating the sleep light

From time to time I do go to bed with my virus

but the sleeplight ( =when my virus is off) is so bright that it even shines through my closed eyes.
Can I reduce the intensity or deactivate the sleep light?

I think the simplest and safest solution to this would be to place a small piece of putty over the light when you go to bed.

It sticks, its not transparent, and you can remove it easily enough.

If you don't have putty, maybe a piece of card.

But I think looking for a firmware option to turn off an LED is... well.. A bit hopeful.

Agree 100%.. have to unplug the virus every night before i sleep because the damn things like a lighthouse. at least if i ever get trapped on a desert island, ill just leave the polar in standby, theres no way a rescuer could miss its heavenly beacon.
