I kinda like that track jasedee: i love those small effects that make it sounds more electric. Hey why didn't you throw in a vocoder in there aswell? that would be pretty cool i think.

Im still not very good with the Virus vocoder, and the only other I have is the 'Orange Vocoder' plug in, that I can never get sounding really great.

I guess I dont know how to use them properly...

The first one I started: http://www.kolumbus.fi/juho.lepisto/..._-_FoxRmx1.mp3
Got stuck with it. Lacks a solo. I'm quite satisfied with the background. But for a remix too banal and ordinary. It's g??.

This one I did today: http://www.kolumbus.fi/juho.lepisto/..._-_FoxRmx2.mp3
I had the background ready so I just fiddled with the vocals and added Hammond & lead. Very quick and still unfinished.

These remixes suck. Hoho. Maybe I'll make a third one later.

What are you talking about???? These Remixes are fucking great!!!!!

You have completely turned the song on its head.....a "true" remix per se, and not just changing beats/b-line like mine..

It reminds me of the title track to "twin peaks".....spooky!

Edit: 8O the second one is great!!!! Very funky and pornographic. Cool vocoder

Thanks. Maybe my ears are just tired for those. The first remix is too ordinary. I just played ProTools pop -like piano with jazzy chords and that's it. Nothing special.

The second one is actually more like a real remix. It doesn't have anything original left. Hoho. Maybe I'll slice up the C part vocals and make a whole one later. Bloody laborious to slice up and loop the vocals. Takes an eternity.

Not a vocoder. Kontakt tone machine (ring mod?) with totally "abused" looping to create those nasty noises. Quite nice, although I'd like to have it more soft and transparent.

I just realised that I had forgot to add my review of your remix.

Kinda funny track. Those drums seem strangely uplifting... Nice. Ok minimalistic version. The bass seem to go wrong in the C-part - Really stings to my ear.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I'd watch the porn-movie just for the music if they ever used this one.

Yeah...thats my favorite part!!!! It's kinda off, and a bit dark, and controversial.

Nice stuff Juho!

1:-
Classy piano and good work with the vocals. If they re-made the song today, I think it would go something like this

2:-
Very funky!
Some crazy fx on the vocals. Is that just straight granular synthesis? Maybe listen to BT and make it a little more crazy next time!
I love the lead sound that comes in at 0:42! Any tips on how you made it? Please?
