Jumping from an Indigo to a Desktop...
I'm considering selling my Indigo 1 and picking up a desktop. B/C/Ti are all candidates depending on what the market looks like.
For me, the Indigo was a great programmer's synth: more portable than the 61 key synths but able to try out chords and complex arpeggios. Not exactly something that can rest on my lap while watching the TV, it's a brick, but I'd program it on the couch, in the garden, where ever.
Are there any workarounds to the desktops that allow some kind of note triggering without a controller? Something like Dave Smith's "push it" button on his Mopho?
I've opened up the oscillators to make drones on the Indigo but that's a little clumsy and doesn't allow for editing the amp envelopes.
Thanks.
