Default [Unsolved]Upgrading OS Virus C to 6.5

Dear virus-users,

I've been having some trouble with my Access Virus C.

About two weeks back my Virus 'crashed', and I lost all thepresets that I've build in the past year. The sad thing is that the backup I made using Ableton Live wasn't any good

Apparantely Ableton isn't quite the right program to use for backing up.

After searching for a while, I stumbled upon the MIDI-OX program which is recommended by serveral Virus users.

I tested it and was able to backup my banks. That's one problem solved.

--->

However, I tried to upgrade my Virus C from OS 5 to OS 6.5.

When I send the OS as a whole using MID-OX, the following happens:

- My Virus seems to get stuck when playing the MIDI file is finished and I read "recv. last bank 15", after this nothing happens.
- Sometimes I receive the message " block incomplete please try again. "

When try to send the OS in chuncks, the MIDI-OX program tells me that the file isn't accesable. Even though I tried downloading a new zip file from the site several times.

Does anyone have any idea as to how to solve this matter?

Thanks in advance,

Paul
