Exclamation Lush and deep pads whit access A

Hi gang, i own a virus A from about a month,i can firmly say it superimpose all other vst's, talking about sound cruelty and deepness

i'm now having troubles recreating pads, i'm after seriously deep and mystic soundscapes (ex. korg wavestation)

i tried a sine+saw combo but it seems i'm very far to my objective

ANyone got reccomendation or patches

Thx in advance

Use saw waves. If you want subwaves use triangles. Avoid low sinusoids as they contain no upper harmonics!

Make a patch with saw waves, add detune. Use 24dB lowpass filter with very low cutoff frequency to smooth out the sharpness from the saws. Add only a slight amount of slow filter envelope.

Add chorus/delay to give some depth. I don't know did Virus A allow you to pan oscillators. If it does, pan detuned saws to opposite channels to widen the pad.

If you want morphing you could use wavetables or FM'd sinewave.

Create a Multi patch using more than one sound (So you're running 2+ separate sounds all tracked to the same midi channel) , use LFOs to adjust filters/volume so they weave in and out of each other. Set the effects to global.
