Default < UNSOLVED > Replacement LCD for Virus B

Hi all,

My LCD screen on my Virus B is starting to flicker in a slightly ominous way, could anybody let me know where I might be able to source a replacement (preferably in the UK)

Best wishes,

Morton

Hi, are your LFO lights OK, or are they malfunctioning too? If so, it could be a capacitor issue rather than an LCD one.

If it's your LCD, I'm unsure of where to get a replacement. However you could try these guys, who are the repair branch for Access Virus: http://www.synthesizerservice.de

They may be able to sell you an LCD.

Hi Timo,

Thanks for the reply. Seems to just be the LCD screen, and it's quite intermittent. I'm going to email the guys you suggested and see what they say.

Meanwhile, if anyone knows of a replacement LCD available in the UK, please let me know!

There's a guy on eBay in the UK selling OLED replacements for the Virus A/B/C/Indigo. IMO, they look even better than the original LCD. Definitely worth a try if you're having trouble finding a replacement.
