Default so what do you think clavia is up to?

ok so the g2 was released recently.

but seeing as the lead 2 has been upgraded to the 2x, surely clavia has plans to upgrade the 3 series sometime in the near future? (please tell me it will be named something a little more creative than 3x!)

c'mon clavia...

anyone know if theres any plans?

I have a feeling that Clavia is concentrating on the modular systems. Well, at least no use to wait for totally new VA from Clavia in near future. Probably something next autumn or so.

Possibly a modified version of the N3 which includes a variety of G2 onboard effects.

Hehe...what do you reckon then? Perhaps they will just concentrate for the time being on the modular stuff. Thats where their niche seems to be.

i agree with this
i think an increse of polyphony to 60-70 voices will kick the virus TI ass
still this is a very siries high end digital modular.
i think it doesnt apeal to musicians as much as the virus or nord lead because they are more of a performence gear.
modulars tend to scare people....

Working in front of a computer doing most of the patch creation is only wver going to appeal to a small niche of people. Clavia do it very well....but its not mainstream like hardwired hardware synths. They can increase the poly beyound 100 voices if they want....but I dont need much more than 16.
