Took a listen to both the tracks you have there's a lot of good in both of them. Both have a natural flow and all the parts and sounds gel together nicely. Great stuff!

Production is pretty good also. Maybe the only thing I'd change (if you're aiming towards them being played in a club this is) is the bass end of boost it - it has a little too much stereo spread for it to work well I'd say. The lead sound is very cool though.

All up, nice stuff mate and thanks for the listen.

Thanx Hollowcell!

That is exactly the kind of suggestion I need. I really apprciate the critical hear. A lot of the samples are removed for the dance mix and I'm a total noob at mastering. If I understood you correctly, I should center the Bass in the mix more? I think a used the wrong limiter preset "booty shaker" in the final mix I'll try the one called "final mix" next go.

cheers, nic

Sounds like it may be the patch itself rather than in the mastering stage - maybe the bass has it's unison voices spread?

As far as the rest of the mastering goes, don't worry too much about it unless you're giving the tracks straight people to play out - good tracks will shine trough a poor mix down. Mastering engineers have to be paid for something afterall.
