Default My first track using my new Indigo 2 :)

Hello, I have just finished and recorded my first track using a Virus and a Rm1x. The Virus is doing everything else than percussion.

The style is evilsounding Minimal/Progressive Psytrance with strange sounds and very few melodies

The track is actually a remake of another track of mine, intended for live usage (playing it live at a tranceparty this saturday)

I have used both homemade and preset patches, and the track has not been mastered

Suggestions and ideas are more than welcome!

I loooove the Virus!!! And I've only had it for about a week or so!

Edit: OMG the BBCode didn't work, so just copy the link...

I'll punch in the face the next bloke using a pitchwheel controlled bandpass saw. This completely lacks a bassline (or it's mixed too silent?) and this track really needs one. The kick is annoyingly hollow. Try to lower the pitch of it or cut some off above 100Hz with EQ.

There's some productional tips.

Thanks, I'm having some trouble getting the kick to sound as the one in my original track, but I'll try cutting the high freqs out. I can't understand why you can't hear the bassline since I think it's more or less too dominating... But I have crappy speakers so that might be the cause of that

All I could hear was that mid-beat-bass.

Well as in most minimal psytrance (or Psytekk) there is just a plain offbeat bass, which is also what I've used in this track (and most of my other tracks)
