Many people just cant get on with it - or find they end up not using it that much because they dont start to really exploit its sample abuse capabiliies, and stick to trying to use it as a VA. Thats seems to apply to both the V-Synth and the V-Synth XT. "
V-synth can be all you want it to be !!!The filter section is very complete, covering all kinds,The touch screen is gr8,it really makes wandering around easy!!In OS 2 they added some new stuff, like the step modulator and sound shaper wich can easy your life when trying to get "that" sound !!!
It has plenty of hands on (XY Pad,D-Beam),making wonders with one of the synth highlights (variphrase)!!
I use mine 1 or 2 times per week wich is nothing,if i had some problems with money it would be one of the first to go because of this matter !!
But i can tell you that its incredible what you can do with samples (voices,FX,you name it) and some routing...
Im also a believer that Roland will release a Jupiter 8 card for it in a near future !!
The only thing that lacks in this beauty is the multitimbral mode wich is s*it !!Forget 16 parts and start thinking in getting one part,or even multi parts with key zones wich is good for live perfomance or wedding parties
!!
