Default Apc-40 is out for all you Ableton Live users

Just got my Apc-40 today and already had to exchange one unit because the button for scene launch four was unresponsive but my new one kiks ass. Its everything they said it was going to be. Just flat out a great way to jam your tracks out live. Ive been going back on my old jungle and electrohouse tracks and mangling clips and drum loops to pieces. I recomend to anyone using ableton, its a must have. It is kind of big though, not much smaller than the TI Polar

A sheet music stand, the ones used for mpcs are 159 and a sturdy sheet music stand is 30. The Apc is so big I didnt have anywhere to put it.Its not the best but it will do.

Yep, I have been watching everything that comes up on YT for it, and as I am heading to the store to pick up my new interface later this week, I will be checking one out there - can't wait.

Im jonzin to get one myself the only thing that bothers me is the lack of velocity sensitive pads...it seems to be redundant to have a pad control and this piece (especially if its as big as it looks) Who am I kidding though...Im either working, with my girl, sleeping or in front of Ableton.

You able to use it as a step sequencer yet or is that going to be a function we have to wait for max4live to aquire?

you can only make it a step sequenzer with max for live which is not out yet i believe

you have to buy it if you want to change anything on the apc, thats one thing i don´t like about the apc
