Default Classical music

Last night Finnish TV showed Mischa Maisky's recent performance of Dvorak's Cello Concerto.

I could NOT change the fucking channel back to Conan O'Brien.

Serious bastard cello player. Needs a fucking haircut, but, hey?

I love Chopin,
Beethoven is also one of my favorite composers.
mozart is not bad either but sometimes his compos are just over the top if you know what i mean...

Shit, that huge choir scares the shit out of me.

Agreed, composers from history like the ones mentioned above and modern day composers (howard shore, danny elfman etc.) completely blow me away.

To be able to "hear" every single element that goes into an arrangement and then actually score it . . . utterly amazing (and to me - borderline genius).

I remember reading a note about composers and their arrangements. It something like it takes over 8 hours just to score 1 minute of material (or something along those lines)

John, I'm so glad you liked that.

My dear old step-dad Gwillym used to blast Welsh choirs at us and get all teary-eyed just watching rugby whenever you boys sang anything at Cardiff Arms Park. Magic.
