Question Virus TI effects routing

Hi all!

Just got my new Virus TI desktop two days ago. Haven't had the time to dive into programming it, but at least I can read the manual at work )) A couple of questions I haven't find answers to:

- effects routing. Can I put, say, chorus after reverb, or distortion after delay? It seems the answer is "no", since it is never mentioned in the manual. Even if the routing is fixed, it would be nice to see a diagram how the effects are wired.

- "virtual aux busses", so that one part's output can be processed by another part's filters and effects. I know Virus C has them, so I supposed the TI does as well, being its successor - but again, could found nothing on this in the manual.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

Hi Boreg, welcome to Infekted. Congrats on the purchase.

- The effects, I haven't got a TI to hand so am not totally sure, but I know the effects structure on previous Viruses aren't modular in their design. I figured they went in the same order as they were displayed in the menus.

Distortion > Analogue boost > Phaser > Chorus > Delay/Reverb

The only official 'block diagram' I saw was of the Virus C: http://i7.tinypic.com/8fzcohz.png which doesn't make things any clearer.

- Unfortunately I think the aux-busses were dropped on the TI, and are instead used for sending the audio over USB instead.

Thanks for the reply Timo!

It's unfortunate that these features are not supported.
After all, they don't require any additional processing power (compared to what the TI already does), so there's a slim chance a future OS version might add them. I'm not holding my breath though ))
