Default If anyone is into Breaks OR Trance...

These are my latest dj mixes(were recorded a few months ago)

DJ MAD-Broken (Breaks)
This cd is for me, an introduction in the world of breakbeats. It starts off quite proggy with a hint of trancy sounds, then moves on to darker and more "in your face" type of stuff. Ends up with quite a bit of electro/rock sound to it...

Tracklist:
01 Infusion - Legacy(Junkie XL remix)
02 Chable&Bonnici - Ride
03 Hyper - Outsider
04 Rob D - Clubbed to death(hybrid remix)
05 Move Ya! & Steve Lavers - Monkey Scratch
06 Lucky 7 VS Scot Project - U
07 Lee Coombs & Dylan Rhymes - Alright all night
08 Snuff - Hot 4 U
09 Moguai - Get On(Hyper remix)
10 Adam Freeland - We want your soul
11 Nirvana vs Adam Freeland - Smells like teen spirit

DJ MAD-Eternal (Trance/hard trance)

Tracklist:
01 Jose Amnesia - The Eternal(Nu-NRG remix)
02 Electrovoya - Whispers(factoria remix)
03 Marc Dawn - Random Walk(Nu-NRG remix)
04 Cern - The message(southern mix)
05 Alphazone - Revelation
06 Desire - Nightflight
07 TFT - True Meanings
08 Ralph Novel - Wrong Love(Alphazone remix/mad edit)
09 Bamford & Perris - Chaos Theory
10 JK Walker - Survival(Hard Outro mix)
11 XLR - The Space Program

I am liking this mix. Sitting here at work listening to it. I grew up in florida listening to breaks (DJ Icey, Huda Hudia, Tony Faline, DJ Fixx). Good mixing and song selection.

Listening now.....

Was it mixed from vinyl or CD? Did you do any mastering?

Smooth mixes.....nice transitions and the tracks gel nicely

Good work!

P.S anyone else notice the triangles in track 3????? HOT!!!!!

I'm mixing about 80% of my stuff on vinyl and about 20% on cds

Regarding the mastering, yeah I've used Izotope Ozone but I compressed the breaks mix a bit too much!

Thanks guys!

Man, there is some great stuff in there. Most of my stuff is to breaks as well, so I really like what you did.

Good stuff, enjoyed listening to them.

One of them clips a lot, can't remember which. You said that you compressed one too much - maybe but one is definately clipping also.

I'd record at a lower volume next time.

Very good mixes though!

I'm normally a bigger trance fan, but I really enjoyed your breaks set. I've started to get tired of trance and your breaks set sounded really fresh to my ears. Outstanding job man, the only track I didn't like was the teen spirit remix. Good job man I hope I get to hear some more of your sets in the future.
