Default plucky lead sound need some help please

i have come across this sound from VEC3 sample bank and was hoping some 1 could help me re-create this sound.
I have attached the file as a zip so the quality is a little low although it should serve its purpose.
All the best

Matt

This is super tough to get down. Did you ever figure it out?

pick a busy source, like two sawtooth oscillators, second one slightly detuned.

(choose a value rather then 0, for phase init value for a more steady sound)

now, sounds like a fairly straight filter with nothing acid or squelchy about it. so try 24dB low pass filter (ser 6 mode), little to no resonance. set the cutoff so that you get all the meat and just shave off some of the highs (you'll use them for the attack portion of the sound).

good, so: amp envelope and filter envelope will have (near to) identical settings. no attack, some decay (most important to tweak right), no sustain, some release (also important).

good idea to use recursive modulation to change the curve of the envelope's decay:

amp env > amp env's decay
filt env > filt env's decay

set this up on the mod matrix. positive for convex, negative for concave curve.

set up some reverb with no pre-delay time, so that it instantly plays along with the sound, set it's decay time so that it fades smoothly, adding a nice warm tail to the sound. Once you have that going, check out the damp parameter to shape the tone of the reverb until it melts as one. Of course you'll need to listen to how much you want to mix the reverb with the signal, but you'll need quite a bit of it! Room reverb should do it!

Then you'll need delay as well.
