Default Why is my Virus TI initializing and synching every time I load the VST?

I've never had this problem before. Now every time I load the VST it happens. I did some searches here and on google with no luck. It takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes to get through this process, and its pretty annoying at this point. I had opened up the Virus Control Centre to check for updates but its already the most recent patch. Any suggestions?

Have you tried access support? Not sure if there one lonely support droid jorg has run out of oil but worth a long shot ; )
My guess is you have moved your stuff around on different hard drive's & now its confused, which is not hard to do. Try running control centre stand alone, let it do it's thing THEN try & run it as a plug in. Should work.

Honestly it's stopped on its own now. I haven't moved a thing since I bought my new computer and installed everything. I'll give this a shot if it ever comes up again though. Thanks for the response!

yeah the software is hit or miss at best...takes a bit of Zen philosophy & more than a little patience to get it working
