The MS2000B is just there anniversary addition, its black and it comes with that stupid mic, oh and the new sounds can be downloaded from korg for the MS2000...

you can one realy cheap
about 200 euro i think for the rack

I haven?t seen any for 200euros. I think they are someway between 300 and 400. And 500-600euros for the keyboard.

I own one ms2000 rack version, use it a lot for drumnbass basslines, it can make really wicked basslines, very bright and so agrressive youll be frightened
for the first oscillator you ve got the possibility to modify continuously the wave so that the sawtooth becomes a double higher one adding a great deal of overtone ; i m not sure thats possible on the virus (the shape offers you to morph through the different wave forms but not so a modification i believe)

I just got myself a 2nd hand microkorg (same engine as MS2000 I think) and it sounds great. I have some problems with the mixing, as some of the sounds are like 'too fat'. I must say, though, I'm extremely happy with it. Amazing little machine, great basses.

The vocoder is cool just to make phone calls. Funny stuff.
