Default Chicane sound

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if you can help, i have a Virus Rack XL, and am trying to make the sound that chicane uses in alot of his tracks, the sort of short plucky synth i have a little snippet if you need it.

If anyone has a patch or can help me then please let me know.

Thanks chaps

I'm sure you can get this sound from almost any VA Synth.
But it sounds like a JUNO to me.
Try playing some Bass sounds on the Higher registers and I'm sure you'll find it. Like I said, It shouldn't be hard to find.

Since im a big chicane fan I can tell you he uses the nord for that plucky sound. I programmed the same "chicane" plucked sound on both my NL3 and NL1...

Hey Pawel,

Are these any good ?

I don't know the song so I'm working only from the MP3.

Chicane rX.mid - I've tried to get this as close as I can to the MP3 so it's quite aggressive and middly (but I don't know if that's just the MP3 compression)

Chicane2 rX.mid - This is a less aggressive version - slightly sweeter and more musical

Let me know
