The characters update was one of the ones that I found particularly exciting. I too would like to know which classics the presets are emulating.

If it is Moog / MS20 & Juno that's great but please add an Oberheim!

My guess is that Access won't announce which synths are being emulated, or whatever it is it's doing. It's probably for the best... otherwise people are probably more inclined to think to themselves "I want a <insert synth name> sound, so I'll just turn up this "amount" knob, and it sounds awesome just like a <insert previously inserted synth name>... instead of actually just using their ears to decide if the effect is actually doing something they find aesthetically pleasing.

I was thinking more along the lines of the SEM Marc. The sound in my head is from those big Oberheim Four and Eight voice beasts circa Dave Greenfield (Stranglers 1979/80/81).

However, I do like the main OB Xpander sound used in Sasha's Xpander track a lot aswell. I kind of suspect the existing TI wouldn't have any problems with that type of sound already.

SEM would be fine. It's pretty huge sounding. Xpander is a gorgeous synth, but most of what makes it so special is the crazy filter options and mod routing.

So how are people getting on with the character models? I don't have a virus ti yet, but these are pretty interesting to me. I think Access should provide some more info about them, and a proper high-res demo, so those who have decent monitors can get the full effect.
