Hi from new member

Hi there - I just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I joined up here as I am currently just about to purchase a virus polar which will form the cornerstone of my home studio. I am strictly a home hobbyist with full time non music related job, as well as a large family. I have used various synths both hard and soft, and I am currently using Ableton Live 8 with an APC40 which I use both for production and performance, alongside an Alesis Micron.

I've deicded to take the plunge and go with a more versatile synth. I cant afford a new ti2 polar so I am waiting for a good price for a second hand ti1. When I do my plan is to record my experiences on my blog which I have just started up, link is in my sig. I plan to do an unboxing video on youtube followed up with videos of me performing in my studio with the virus and APC40.

Sounds like you have the plot well worked out. I see you are in steel and Human League country. I lived in Ecclesfield once, round about the time when the synth was invented!
