There's only one problem with SX and it's the totally useless bundled plugins, so 3rd party plugins are necessary. To sum up Logic has better bundled plugins and better MIDI and Cubase shines in audio and intuitivity.

I've always found Logic totally something else than logical. Weird GUI. But on the other hand it's a good thing that I chose Cubase line because I use PC.

There are so many cool plug-ins out there (free and paid) that it seems silly for the manufacturer's to be worth a shite.

I think they should provide some real basic FX plugins and maybe some real basic VSTis and that's it.

Everyone's preferences are so disparate it seems impossible for a sequencer's out of the box plugins to be too useful for all consumers, unless they do some crazy shite like package the Waves Diamond Bundle with the sequencer but that is ludicrous and unaffordable.

I am really interested in NI Komplete, East West's Collossus, and Atmosphere as far as plug-ins are concerned.

I would not buy another synth if I had those three.

Has anyone used a VST synth called Vapor?

I own atmosphere, and it is immense to sa the least. be aware it is a ROMpler. But that being said, you can still modulate the samples with LFO's, filters, etc..... I recommend this one A+++++++

Vapour on the other hand got shitty reviews in almost every mag I read.

NI Komplete is all you'll need for instruments. As long as you have the computing power.

As far as mastering, Live 4 offers me that. Operator is neat and unique.
