Default Using the Multi-Mode

Once I'm in Multi-Mode what do I do to layer the patches? I simply hear one patch, and when I go threw the parts the other ones don't seem to sound. Also, how do I copy the patches from single to multi? I know this is the most newb question. If someone would just link me to a tutorial that'd be great too. I have an access virus TI2, and I don't use it as a VST.

Thanks!

For layering, the patches must be set to the same MIDI channel.
  • In Multi mode, press Shift+Edit to enter Multi Edit mode
  • Press the cursor buttons (< or >) until you get to the MIDI channel parameter
  • Set all parts you want layered to the same MIDI channel (e.g. 1)

In Multi Edit mode, scroll to the screen with Bank and Program (or is it Patch?) parameters. This is where you select the patch for current part.
