Default TI Price ?

Hi,
I was just wondering that what is the retail price of TI going to be? (in Europe and America)

The official Access distributor in Australia - "Innovative Music", they charge $3900 AUD (2500 EURO!!! $3000 USD) for TI desktop and $5300 AUD (3400 EURO!!! $4000 USD!!!) for Polar

http://www.innovativemusic.com.au/Pr...products.htm&2

I prefer to buy TI from overseas, I know that there is going to be a warranty issue, but I will try my best not to support filthy australian industry. The price is just criminal.

Do you guys know any reliable european or american stores that can take overseas orders?

Thank you in advance

Lots of good dealers in Europe - but I think most will only ship within Europe.

UK proces for the keyboard and polar is 1499 UKP and 1199 for the desktop.

Oddly the virus is one of the few synths where the europe price is actually allmost sensible relative to US prices.

Normally we get ripped off.

Madstation, that's a very good price. If memory serves me correctly, that price is about 400.00 less than what they have listed on their website. Is that because you did a preorder?

I think they may do, but if you're in Europe don't forget to add customs duties and VAT to your budget, and also the higher shipping fee.

Often, after considering all that lot, it's sometimes just easier to get it here with not that much of a price difference. Also bear in mind technical/customer support could sometimes be a pain in the ass if you buy from a different continent and later have problems with the gear, along with high shipping costs.

If you're buying abroad, remember to check for the supported voltages too, although most well-designed new machines these days have an auto-voltage detection circuit already within them so you don't have to do anything. Others require flicking a switch. And the rest require exchanging the power supply unit.

I think custum duties couse the virus price to rise by 20-30% in australia.
in that case ordering it from europe will get you the same price after you pay the tax for it.
this may be profitable only if you pysicly transfare it inside australia and avoid being checked by custum or trick they somehow by ordering it from europe and make them write something like secondhand on the box or something that will again... help you avoid paying tax.
its tricky but possible!

yeah, that is what I preordered back in Nov 2004, but their website shows a different price now, so I wasn't sure if they were going to honor the older preorders.
