Default Rookie question

I m just a begginer try to set up my studio. My question is: Can you use any synth with midi in and out as a midi controler like for example Use the korg ms2000b as the main keyboard and control the virus and norlead through it. I know the norlead and virus can be use as midi controlers.

Any keyboard w/ MIDI I/O can be used as a controller. Just set each device to the same channel, route them correctly and you're done.

Don't forget to turn local control to off!

If a synth hasn't got this function then forget about using it as a controller...
