Default how many current TI user used to own a C/KC/INDIGO 2?

I am new to ACCESS hardware, so forgive this question.
I understand based on reviews/research that like the TI these items were released with incomplete OS/features.

But that ACCESS held up their own and some with the latter os releases......It seems that it takes access about 2 years of os updates to "mature the product", and while we moan and complain, in the end they come through?

My ti keyboard that I returned due to bugginess had 10/05 marked on the box shipped to sam ash. I understand that post 1/06 models are less buggy, os issue excluded?

I used to have a Virus KC and it was ROCK SOLID.
If I only knew I would have kept it

I really don't know if Access will be able to fix the timing issues with OS1.1 since this time software is involved.

Based on experience, since I've used all desktop versions in the Virus series, Access-Music has ALWAYS taken care of their products and their customers. (There was always bugs in previous machines, but they were wiped out as time went on.)

I still have my Virus C XL. Although I didn't buy straight after release so cannot comment on its early OS stability.

I sent Access an email asking:

Hello,
Can you please tell me when I can expect to receive OS1.1?

I work for a software house and understand that you probably won't be
able to give me a date, but if you could let me know whether I will be
waiting for weeks or months I would very much appreciate it.

I bet that e-mail will get the VIP treatment.
I sent my music retailer the same e-mail asking about access virus returns over the past 6 months, as well as os 1.1 release date.......

Frankly, this os 1.1 think is making me schizophrenic....I hear shit, and I'm not talking about the reverb or delay buss.

I had (and still have, didn't sell it yet) a C desktop before the TI, and though I bought it quite some time after release, it was before the self-oscillating filters were added. I remember that the first version of the OS supporting these new filters had a flaw which prevented the extra outputs from working... fixed some days later.

Here, though, I think we're dealing with just another level of complexity: there are new oscillators, an extra load of poliphony, a new display to manage, the USB interface... and let's remember that we're interfacing with systems (Windows especially) which are all but bug-free. There are so many new things to take into account in the TI, since it's a vastly expanded Virus C, in my opinion the greatest leap forward since its conception.

I can't wait for a stable OS, but for now I utterly enjoy the TI standalone... those wavetables were much less advertised than the hypersaws, but they're SO great! I just jam with them, and who cares if Virus Control doesn't work?

If you would have asked them whether it will be hours or days, he would have replied "I guess it will be days."
