UPDATE: Got an email back from Access "Thank you for your mail. I'm sorry to hear this. If the unit doesn't react at all, so no LED lighting up (even the middle LED of the transpose buttons) and the display stays dead as well, then the unit must
have a hardware defect of some sort. In this case please get in touch with your music shop you got the TI from and ask for warranty repair.

Well, I can't recommend
www.novamusik.com enough for purchasing gear. They told me to send it in no questions asked and they will swap it out for another one!!! This is even past my 30 day store warranty. Yeah!
