Using guitar rig 2 here. Think I am going to spring for a Swuier Jag imitation. Love the "surf" sound of it. Anybody ever used a Jaguar?

Guitar Rig. Heard good things about that, mate. How noisy is it? Is the wah pedal any good?
Never played a Jaguar.

Guitar rig is great. I dont use it as my soundcard so i dont really get very much noise. It can do anything from thrash metal to country to blues. I really is great. I have the rig control 1. The wah pedal on that one sucks. Never used the rig control 2, I went cheap and did the software upgrade route.

I'd love to get a really good wah wah-stompbox (or whatever it's called again..)
I'd create S.P.A's Theme music!

I play the guitar as my primary instrument. Right now I am playing:
-1958 Supro Airlinne/ 1969 Lyle 335 copy
-Mesa/Boogie Rectofier Recording Preamp
-Peavy stero classic 50/50 (best tube power amp ever!)
-a bunch of effects!
-1 GenzBenz verticle 2x12 half open back cab, 1 GenzBenz 2x12 closed back cab.
I was thinking of getting the Line6 POD xt just ebcause there is more to use at my fingertips. I hear the rectifier emulator on it is kind of crappy but the other things are pretty neat. Any ones thoughts on this?

ZodiaK Folk. What's those guitars please mate? Pics...?
I use the Line 6 Guitar Port. Like it a lot. Same patches as the XT. Lots cheaper but, of course, slave to the computer.
Any links to your sounds there mate?
Jase buddy, have a cigar by the way, you voted yet..? I have a Cry Baby. Bought it in '89. It's already broken. Noisy as hell anyway I always thought. Boooo!

Hey just really decided to look at this thread!
I love guitars, but at the moment I love the guitar FX/amp sims more than the strings themselves (could be mainly due to the fact left my guitar in Ausi when I came here).
Recently I have been shopping around for some new FX. I have VF1 and a SE70 (actually 2 SE70s at the moment) and I have just ordered a VOX Tonelab to try out.
I was thinking about getting a Line6XT or GTpro (I still will get the GTpro one day), but I wanted something for clean realistic amp sounds with heaps of dynamic control - the VOX won out as it's gain stages are tube driven, but it still uses digital amp/cabs. Also the fact that these things are so damn cheap here helped.
I use GuitarRig two as well - infact I run it standalone on my old DAW because I like it that much. It's just after buying the SE70s (which have real analogue distortion) I remembered (since not bringing any pedals from home with me) that having more expressive tones the harder or softer I play is important. This lead me to trying the VOX - will let you guys know how it goes after I play with it for a while.
Long live the AMP sims!

Look forward to hearing that mate.
How did you manage to order one to just try out?
