Arrow DeeperNET Feat. Zefora - Vocal Ambient Electronic Track

Just finished up a new track! Take a listen please, and let me know what you think. Had the pleasure of working with a vocalist this time around. Thanks.

My honest thoughts: im not a huge fan of the vocals, but i think your production at the back is sounding really good. Just my personal preference Good stuff.

Thanks for listening and the kind words! What about the vocals don't you like if you don't mind me asking? Was it the vocals in general or how they are mixed? This is my first project that I've done with a vocalist other than myself and I/we certainly want to learn from our mistakes.

Hi Andrew, I enjoyed the atmosphere of your song, and I like the sort of menacing feel of those jungle toms.

Why don't you try staggering the vocal part in the peak/trough sections so that the vocal part fills its own space between the drum bursts - as it is, I feel the two parts are competing, almost as though the drums are attempting to silence the voice. Course, that may be what you wanted.

Possibly shorten the final passage a bit, too?

A few thoughts for you.

Suzzy
