Default "I DREAM OF WIRES"...new movie info:

http://vimeo.com/59346477

This is a series of trailors for an upcoming Indie Film dedicated to modular synthesis and think this will be a must-watch even if it requires a nominal purchase of DVD's to view it as unless you have a dedicated "Art Film Theatre", it may be only way to view this important documentation of synth history BUT also the resurgence of modular knob twiddlers! Enjoy!

I think it should have been named 'I dream of knobs'.....no I think there's a porno with that name, Lol. Dont think I could sit through 4 hours of that, the trailer was long enough for my attention span. Would love to knock through to the next bedroom in my apartment & get one of these bad boys though

Um, depending on one's particular fetish, there's probably a porno with a dark theme called "I dream of wires" as well. Probably ANYthing that starts with "I Dream of...." (fill in the blank you naughty man!)

"I Dream of Wires" is only 4 hours in the special release version. I posted this because it not only goes into specifics of synthesizer history and of course the 'pros' whom have many CD's released, pre-CD-era and whom may still produce and tour; but it REALLY focuses on the minds of those whom love sound, sound design, and the many folks whom are home hobbyists making music for the love of music and sound. Also, how even this is an interest world-wide with much vitality--and how the internet; soundcloud, etc., and we knob-twiddlers actually have quite an influence on those manufacturer's whom chose to listen. With that said, the overwhelming resurgence of interest in analog and other forms of synthesis has proven itself more recently in NAMM 2013's show-stealers of those whom chose to innovate rather than stagnate.

Would that require yet another mutation? If I add an extra right and left lobe to my brain, would THAT mean instead of EDM it would be IDM producing? Who exactly comes up with these genre` name differentations?
