Tomer=Trance: Well it happens even with only 1 cpu you know
Use 100% of your cpu and the application will become highly unresponsive. I don't know about dualcore but I believe that any system that you push to its limits will have a hard time dealing with that.
At the moment I'm in the process of deciding either I get a setup similar to Ten's or I still wait for TI...
I'm so sick of running out of cpu...Especially since these days I do EVERYTHING with vsts even tho I have quite a few synths around

Tomer, no crashes on this system. Absolutely ROCK solid in all it does. Havent heard of others with dual dualcores having crashes with sx or nuendo either though.

I have Nuendo 3(.1 or whatever, just updated) and it hasn't crashed on me once Also, you don't get that fast out of cpu power, unless you really try like me sometimes, and run like 16*z3ta+ @ 64 poly @ high @ double oversampling 8O
But that is just plain fun...

here's my beloved studio space!
http://electroniclife.co.uk/pseudonym/stuff/studio.jpg
I've since ditched the CRT - it was doing my head in more having one ace display and one shit one - squinting and relaxing over and over again seems more stressful than just squinting.
Cable management required...
