Default London

What a fantastic place. I'm 27, born and bred in England, and the last time I went to the Smoke before today was when I was 4yrs old, and had no recollections of it (apart from running away and hiding behind a dustbin in King's Cross station during rush hour for a larf while my mum briefly turned to pay for tickets).

This time it was in a whistle-stop day tour in steam-train, with six hours to kill in London (had enough time to jump on the Eye, and a have a boat trip up to the Tower bridge, grabbed a bite to eat and generally milled about a bit), and I nearly wet myself with the sheer excitement of it all.

Furthermore, the tube fascinates me immensely.

What an awesome city.

Afraid I have to totally disagree - London is a terrible place.

I worked in the Docklands and lived in Islington for a year and hated avery second of it!

So impersonal, gloomy, poluted and expensive!

I loved my two years in London, but that was due to my time there basically being an extended holiday, though I was working I wasn't working towards anything.

Fantastic if your in your twenties with no cares or responsibilities and want to just fuck around.

I wouldn't live there again for love nor money now though.

I for one beleive that Timo has Weapons Of Mass Distruction, and if we don't do something now, his oil may make us no money at all!

Let's not waste any time and shell his neighborhood with depleted uranium shells!!!

EDIT: I like London actually. It's kind of like Tokyo for me; It's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.
